Working with the planheat mapping module, I am missing a preferences-menu, which could make it possible to:

  • adapt and change assumptions,
  • adapt which parameters are exported.
Currently I do a workaround, changing it manually in the planheat.db, which is not very user-friendly.
Adding a dialog-menu, where accessing and changing values in the planheat.db temporarily would be nice.

Hello,

Could you be a little more specific on your request:
- Which mapping module? (city, district or supply)
- What are the exact settings you would like to be able to edit?

Kind regards,
The Planheat team

Hello,

yes, sorry for being unprecise.
It's about the district mapping in complete mode.
Here I would like to (or suggest as a wanted feature):

  • have a little menu, where I can change the active flag in the csv_shp_output_fields table (inside the planheat.db). This would enable the user to export also the results for the calculated walls and chosen u-values for each building. To me it would be useful ;) I hope for others, too.

Changing the assumptions for the u-values of buildings in the u-value table (same db) would also be nice, as well as defining own heat_schedules, etc. But this is more a second step: adapting the assumptions can be critical, as they have to be verified in some way.

Thanks for your work and for considering my idea!

Kind regards,

Christian
