When the plugin is used in a Piwigo closed to the public (with forced login), autocompletion works even for users who are not logged in. Thus, tags are visible that may contain personal information not intended for the public.

Can you restrict autocompletion to logged in users?

Piwigo 12.3.0 and RV Autocomplete 12a
