Connecting a Samsung battery to the PiJuice #1072

Hi,

I want to use a Samsung EB-BG525BBE to power my PiJuice.
The PiJuice blinks blue when I insert the charger into either the Raspberry Pi or the Pijuice directly.
However, the battery does not seem to charge, nor is it able to power the Pi once I unplug the power cord.
When disconnected, the PiJuice blinks red, and once pressed, the same LED briefly goes green but it still
does not power on the Pi. The whole setup works perfectly when I insert the provided 1820 battery.

Any help is appreciated!

You probably need to create a custom battery profile by following the samsung battery's datasheet inside pijuice. Without a proper battery profile, pijuice is clueless to what type of battery is connected. Also, your wiring seems a bit weird to me. I see black wire going to the positive VBAT terminal screw. Maybe more pictures on all the wiring will help detect the issue.
