pi4j-example-minimal doesn't work on virgin PI 4

Did ever anybody test the pi4j-example-minimal on a PI 4???
Can anyone help me?

When the error GLIBC_2.33 not found is shown in the startup log, you need to update the Operating System as the required dependencies are not available to communicate with the GPIOs."

I have updated the system by "sudo apt update and sudo apt full-upgrade" , but nothing has changed. I didn't expect that because the system was completely reinstalled.

How can I find out the exact version of the pi4j-os?
How to "update" the pi4j-os?

Actually this starts from the official Raspberry Pi OS instead of Pi4J OS and can be used on any RPi type (not only 5 as the title suggests).

@andi-riese I am sorry, with need to update the Operating System, i meant an upgrade to the latest Raspberry Pi OS, which is based on a new Debian major version. I don't know how easy it is to upgrade, maybe just reinstalling will be easier?

We have realized that the pi4j-os is outdated and shouldn't be used anymore, we are busy writing new documentation to reflect this.
