The only source I have for one translation of the Mimes of the Courtesans by Lucian is a web site: https://www.sacred-texts.com/cla/luc/motc/index.htm.

How do I properly represent the fact that that is where I got the text and I was the one who converted it to XML and CTS?

hey @gregorycrane well there are a few things going on here. The source edition is (https://www.worldcat.org/title/3742636) and would be used for the structured bibl plus some additional metadata regarding the fact that you had used the HTML version from https://sacred-texts.com/cla/luc/motc/index.htm.

So I think to begin with that would look like:
<biblStruct> <monogr> <author>Lucian</author> <title>The mimes of the courtesans</title> <editor role="translator">A.L.H.</editor> <imprint> <pubPlace>New York</pubPlace> <publisher>Priv. Print. for Rarity Press</publisher> <date>1928</date> </imprint> <note>HTML version of this edition was posted on Sacred Texts by John B. Hare </monogr> <ref target="(https://sacred-texts.com/cla/luc/motc/index.htm">Sacred Texts</ref> </biblStruct>

Then under the standard responsibility stmt
<respStmt> <persName>Gregory Crane</persName> <resp>Conversion of HTML file to XML and conversion to Epidoc and CTS-XML</resp> </respStmt>

Maybe that would cover it?

Why eng6, do we have five other versions of this?
