BTW: We previously discussed that "some channels wouldnt be seen in the slash command UI if we couldnt join them". This is completely incorrect. We can still select them with a search in the slash UI, discord does not provide a scroll bar for channels which is completely ridiculous @CPhantasm

update: still needs rigorous testing

so confused on everything and what we want to get from the discord API
