Hello everyone. I had been trying to observe the effect of connectivity on relative permeability curves. When adjusting the connectivity value, a higher value shifts the curve to the right, and vice versa is true. I found a good explanation to this:
"The increased connectivity could allow for better penetration of the wetting phase (water in our case) into the pore space. This can lead to a broader saturation range over which the wetting phase can flow, contributing to the observed shift in the relative permeability curve."
However, the problem is the range of this shift. Based on the generated relative permeability curves, while adjusting the connectivity between 6-26, the wettability appears to be completely changed for some cases. I would not expect network properties to affect wettability. Can anyone help me explain this observation?
