copy plot cursor x,y to clipboard

I use the Profile Tool a lot, and often slide my cursor along arbitrary profile lines that I draw on the fly, to record stations and elevations of certain features in the profile I am looking for.

There's already a right-click menu for the plot UI. It would be amazing if a choice was added to that menu, which would copy the current plot cursor's x,y to clipboard.
