I've ran into an issue with my latest Node-Red setup.

  • Fresh Ubuntu 16.04 (my previous setups have been on Debian 9)
  • node-openzwave-shared installed and working (confirmed with test2.js)
  • no other nodes installed
  • node-red-contrib-openzwave installed via Palette Manager (manual install gives me the same result)

When looking in the Palette Manager, there is a red exclamation mark under the node-red-contrib-openzwave with the explanation of: [object Object]

I can add Z-Wave In, Out and Controller nodes without issues, but when I go to Deploy changes, I'm greeted with:

Flows stopped due to missing node types.

You should provide node-red log to be able to know the error that cause this problem.
