Not sure if this is the proper place to ask, but not sure where the proper place would be.
SO will ask and see what returns.
I have a Hantek 6020BE DSO that has been in operation for 5 years. The last time I attempted to use it I got an error message that the device required more power than the USB port could provide. I have tried swapping ports. Still get the message. Unplugging the USB from either the PC or the device will stop the message. It seems this would rule out the USB cable.
How does one find information to troubleshoot the board for short?
