question about function not implemented

When I run other nvm_cmd series commands, there is no problem, but when I execute nvm_async_init() method, it shows function not implemented. In fact, I am running the program as root. I am very puzzled why such a problem occurs, and how to solve this problem.

The error is as follows:
could not initialize async context: Function not implemented
ex01_async_read: Function not implemented
