@ockim16 Do you have specifics on what your team wants to do? Please share here. |
Good day Sir Maning!
Specifically, we are targeting to reach 1000 km of road edits within this
year. We would like to reach out to your team for our local mapping team to
learn and understand this initiative and to help out to add road data..
Currently, we have 10-15 operators that have basic knowledge about adding
roads and will undergo advanced training with Sir Eugene.
*Our target areas are:*
Cavite
Rizal
Bulacan
Laguna
Cebu City
Davao City
Bacolod and Talisay City
Iloilo City
Legazpi City
Naga City
Balanga Bataan
Baguio City
Binalonan and Dagupan, Pangasinan
San Fernando, Pampanga
Cagayan De Oro
But we would like to test run it with a relatively small area so that we
can help further with other projects that need assistance like in Siquijor.
We hope you can assist us in this endeavor or advise us what to do next.
Thank you very much

@ockim16 , there are several tasks that may be able to help you achieve this number. First of all, if you're keen to try out the on-going RapiD tasks in Siquijor, please feel free to jump in to contribute any time. We feel that task instructions, and the links therein are sufficient to guide users with some mapping experience, to figure it out themselves. If not, let us know exactly what you need. Two, there are several road-related tasks open to the public that are available on various micro-tasking managers:
Any of these tasks will contribute to improving the local road network, and you can opt to prioritize those geographical areas you mentioned, and you'll easily reach your 1,000 km road edit goal. |
Thank you very much for your email Sir Maning. These is absolutely a great
help.
