I package qsstv for Mageia.
Our last version was 9.5.8 from Bitbucket which has now vanished.
Please continue to make releases in github that continue on from the original version series.
There seem to be recent commits, but I can't update our package without a version to update to.
If there are no versions, distros will start to invent their own and then we will be comparing apples
with pears and nobody will know what is going on.
Thanks,
Barry

From what I understand the commits here started at 9.5.11
f928ad7 -- this commit is 9.5.11

Everything after that is starting changes that aren't in a released version yet.

So is appglobal.cpp the only place where the version details can be extracted?
Even if 'releases' are not made then may I ask that version changes be tagged in git so packagers have a consistent means to check for new versions. However actual releases with git tarballs would be the best.

Totally agree as it would be nice ta have at least tagged git commit with version to have consistent view for software package. Now the best what i came up, is to use 'appglobal.cpp' with 'last commit date' and hoping there are no oblivious defects.
