Some history: the AchillesWeb project provided a way to explore the results of running Achilles to characterize a CDM's contents. Later, the ability to explore Achilles results was migrated to ATLAS and was housed under the "Data Sources" tab. Later, a separate initiative called ARES emerged that provides the ability to explore Data Characterization from Achilles and Data Quality Assessment from the Data Quality Dashboard.
I'd propose that we deprecate the ATLAS "Data Sources" area in favor of ARES since ARES will be the place of active development in the database characterization & data quality areas.
