Email request from Gene Spangrude on 7 March 2020:
is it possible to insert 'Comment Lines' within the CSV Files which are presently imported into the Cross Section Viewer?
If so, what is the 'accepted format' for a "Comment Line."
If not, could this feature for having 'Comment Cards' be added to the Cross Section Viewer?
As an example, the 'Legacy Corps HEC-2 Program' would accept 'Comment Cards' having a " C " or a " * " entered in the first Column of the intended 'Comment Card.' The cards would be read but not ever numerically processed during program execution.
These 'Comment Cards' would be handy for making 'Comments' about the total data set; or for making specific individual 'Comments' for any given 'Transect' found within the data set.
With the various Survey Datums presently in use, these 'Comment Cards' would be handy for easily documenting significant things about a given data set....... so that a User is made aware of any significant facts about a data set or for individual transects found within the data set......
