The option to import into an existing survey doesn't actually bring the data in to the existing survey. First of all, it checks to see if the name in the "new survey" field is already a survey (even if that option isn't checked). It then seems to import, but it does not actually import the data.
This is important with the very large files we have. Excel does not support the number of rows we need, so we need the ability to import in chunks.
