Deleting Cross Sections From Selection Is Broken

I am experiencing an issue with the Cross Section Viewer. I am trying to create a selection of cross sections that are 0.1 miles apart. Because there is some variety in the cross section spacing, I'd like to manually create this selection (the filters don't seem capable of performing this task). When I tried to create a selection and then delete the cross sections I didn't want, the program didn't actually delete them. The cross sections momentarily disappeared, but when I exited out of the program and reopened it, the deleted cross sections were still there. Is this a problem you have experienced? Do you have any suggestions for creating this selection?
