Metric Download TextBox Clearing #52

The metric download tool needs to clear the message textbox on the form as it starts to process.

I ran this tool twice. The first time I got a nice error message in the textbox. When the second attempt started, the message box was not cleared and the legacy message remained which was confusing.

This is odd because the code is clearly emptying the textbox. Perhaps the second message was legit?
