Syncrobit Miners not connecting #3
Comments
Do you mean when you try to connect via Bluetooth? Which app are you using? |
@NguyeningPlays can you share any screenshots or error messages you are seeing? |
I think it could be the same issue as here... But not totally sure... |
@NguyeningPlays nothing came through? You might need to log on to GitHub and upload it |
The error I am getting when I try to connect to the miner through the nebra app on my phone. |
@NguyeningPlays do you have two trying to load at once? Can you try with just one at a time? |
@NguyeningPlays Can you please let us know the app version and android version as well. Helps us reproduce the error. |
I tried it individually and I still have the same issue. I mean I have 3 more miner I can try to reimage, but I feel like I will run into the same issue. Unless I am missing a step in the reimaging process. |
I am using iPhone14 iOS 16.1.1 and Nebra app version 1.0.6. @pritamghanghas |
still having issues connecting to the miners... |
@shawaj I am having the same issue. "Error .... device was disconnected". I am using firmware 2023.02.07.0-16-helium-syncrobit-2023-02-24-OpenFleet. And I'm using IOS Nebra app version 1.0.11. |
I've had this issue before, you need to use a phone with an older version of Bluetooth e.g. Bluetooth 5 or older. I have a Pixel 6 with Bluetooth version 5.2 and it doesn't work but if I use my older Huawei P30 Pro it works fine. This is an issue that has plagued the Syncrobit devices, not a Nebra issue. |
Interesting. So this sounds like an issue with Bluetooth driver on the compute module units inside? However, this isn't hard coded so if running our firmware it would be the upstream drivers that balenaOS are using. Which is presumably coming from the Raspberry Pi firmware repo? Do any of you know what compute modules your devices are running? Raspberry Pi CM4 presumably if you are using our software? The CM4 has Bluetooth 5.0 - but Ble 5.2 devices should be compatible with BLE5.0 I think right @pritamghanghas ? |

@NguyeningPlays can you try with the latest Nebra app? |

Hello guys, I am new here and also still with the topic of helium mining. I am very grateful for any helpful tips. |
the latest version of the app shouldn't have the issue. |
Thanks for the answer. |
I'm reading your ticket back so please allow me some time to respond, I see you've made multiple replies over the last few days, don't worry we can fix it just we're really busy and we want to answer everyone. #430847 for Nebra Use |

The Nebra app |
There is no issue to fix. The Bluetooth works fine |
I followed the steps to reimage my syncrobit miners with the nebra firmware. when i try to connect to them via the nebra app i get an error that says disconnected. Is there any solution to this? Or do I just need to keep these miners on the network for a long time until they start pushing packets to helium?
