According to the installation page on the plugin overview page the panel should somehow be addable in a dashboard. However I do not see a way to add it anywhere.

When I look at the home page of my Grafana instance (version 6.1.4) the Influx Admin is listed under "Installed Panels", but I cannot do anything with it on that page.

When I create a new dashboard and add a panel there, there is no option to select the admin panel under the "Visualisation" section either.

Where is it supposed to show up?

Same problem here. How to add it to the dashboard?

Go to a (new) dashboard, add a new panel and click "Choose Visualization".

If the plugin is installed, you can choose the option "Influxdb Admin".

I can not find the panel in Grafana 5. Is it hiding somewhere else?

You need to install the InfluxDB Admin panel: https://grafana.com/grafana/plugins/natel-influx-admin-panel
