duduk seko:00298 (doudouk).

  • A duct channel flute used in the regions of Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and Turkey, closely related to the dudka.
  • probably same as duduk (MIMO 3933) (doudouk)
    • aliases Balaban, Doudouk, Duduk (flute)
  • LCMPT svirala mp2013015691 a duct flute
    • aliases: duduk (duct flute), frula, jedina, jedinka, jednojka, sviraja, svirale, žvegljica

This is probably not is the same as

or

  • duduki seko:00299 "duduk (oboesoitin)", "duduk (oboe instrument)"
    • Armenialainen ja georgialainen oboetyyppinen puhallinsoitin.
    • Armenian and Georgian oboe-type wind instrument.
  • Armenian duduk (mimo:6292), (Tsiranapogh, Düdük, Düdüki)
    • Hautbois arménien, l'anche double est appelée 'gamish'
  • duduk Q737917 "doudouk",
  • LCMPT duduk (double reed instrument) mp2013015225 variant "duduki" -- A double-reed instrument of ancient Armenian origin.
  • Wikidata "duduk" Q737917

Probably not the same as:

  • düdük seko:00313 (duduk)
    • Turkkilainen tulppakanavahuilu.
    • Turkish duct-channel flute.

As you see, the labels are mixed between several instruments, Bulgarian (flute), Armenian (oboe), Georgian etc. so this needs clarification if these are really separate instruments.

So we have two or three types instruments sharing the duduk/doudouk names, but can we describe the variants as separate instruments?

Both of these are different from

  • a "rim-blown flute" (end-blown flute, ductless flute)
    • seko:00480 kaval (Balkans, Turkey) (aliased as "duduk" in Wikidata [Q178374]

What is the correct Hornbostel-Sachs (classification) for each of these?
