Congratulations on the initial implementation we have.

But it's sad that Slint disables translations on Windows (slint-ui/slint#3307) and we may need to complete some additional mechanism on our own.

In addition, Slint currently chooses to process i18n as simple string replacement and formatting, which I suspect may lead to some issues such as default font policy, glyph variant selection, and so on.

Besides, gettext is a rather ancient system that is far from 'doing the right thing'. For i18n-related problems, I still recommend to use some more modern system (eg. Project Fluent / MessageFormat 2.0) to handle complex behaviors of speech variations, word order changes in different languages.

Temporarily migrate localized adaptation for Windows and macOS 😞.

Maybe we could use more modern tools to do this in the version 2.1 😁.
