Question: Why is Everolimus returned instead of RAD001? Wouldn't it be more correct/consistent to always return the drug actually listed in the clinical trial, not a synonym?
As a side note, ARAX Synonym lookup says RAD001 is UMLS:C0962969, but searching for Everolimus returns nothing.
However, there are other results from the same query that are also returned with evidence from clinical trials where the actual drug listed in the clinical trial is returned (and not a synonym), for example Arsenic trioxide, Hydroxyurea, Omacetaxine Mepesuccinate. So maybe it's a one-off issue, but I'm reporting it here anyway.
One of the results (2nd page, score 4.95) of "What drugs may treat conditions related to Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, Bcr-abl1 Positive" is Everolimus. Since this is a derivative of Sirolimus which is on the Promiscuous compounds list I thought it was interesting.
Looking into the evidence of the inferred treats edge, the first two paths (Knowledge Source https://github.com/NCATSTranslator/Translator-All/wiki/repoDB and https://github.com/NCATSTranslator/Translator-All/wiki/ChEMBL) point to a clinical trial for a drug called RAD001, which after some digging turns out to in fact be Everolimus. However the ClinicalTrials page lists RAD001 as the drug, not Everolimus:
