You can directly use wrfinput file as the HRLDAS_setup file. Just put your wrfinput file path in the namelist.hrldas for the HRLDAS_SETUP_FILE entry. |

XSTART, XEND, YSTART, YEND should be the grid index (starting from 1; integer) of your subdomain, not actual lat/lon values. |

Dear Professor,
I am planning to use the Noah-MP model for regional simulations. I have created the wrfinput_d01 file using WPS and WRF, which contains the necessary initial state variables for the Noah-MP regional simulation at each grid point, including latitude, longitude, elevation, soil type, vegetation type, soil moisture at different depths, and soil temperature. Therefore, this file provides the required initial conditions for the regional simulation.
The current issue is how I can convert the wrfinput_d01 file into a file similar to HRLDAS_setup_2000010100_d1. Since I did not follow the standard tutorial to store the different initial variables in separate directories, I cannot use the create_forcing.exe script to generate the initial field files. As for the atmospheric forcing data, I have already prepared it using Python code.
Could you please advise on how to convert the wrfinput_d01 file into the HRLDAS_setup_2000010100_d1 format? I would greatly appreciate your guidance!
Best regards.
