Embedded links in PDFs are lost on upload #921

It has always been frustrating that embedded links in PDFs don't render as links once uploaded to DC. I think this frustration remains! Is there anyway to keep embedded links as such?

Two big unknowns here:

How difficult would it be to implement this using PDF.js?
What are the security implications of enabling links?
