What is Drone?

Drone works through a system of sensors.

Drone is referred to as “Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" (UAVs) & UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) or RPAS (Remotely Piloted Air System).

These crafts can carry out an impressive range of tasks, ranging from military operations to package delivery

Drones can be as large as an aircraft or as small as the palm of your hand.

D for Dynamically

R for Remotley

O for Operated

N for Navigation

E for Equipment

Drone Categories in India

Registration is required for all accept the Nano category.

Nano: Less than or equal to 250 grams (.55 pounds)

Micro: From 250 grams (.55 pounds) to 2kg (4.4 pounds)

Small: From 2kg (4.4 pounds) to 25kg (55 pounds)

Medium: From 25kg (55 pounds) to 150kg (330 pounds)

Large: Greater than 150kg (33 pounds)
