Government issued ID

I was wondering if we should add a government issued ID to you new ID. I know this is to get away from them but at present it is the best method of identification we have so why not take advantage of this fact and include it in the block chain ID.

Of course we can use a solid permissions model to control who has access / be able to see this ID.

My anarcho... side says hell no, but my "well, to get mainstream acceptance of the id we'd better" says yes. the value can always be stripped from the chain down the road once they've been phased out. hope that makes sense. your id in a WoT is everything, the more entities that support it, the better.

Ultimately it seems one would have the option to attach a World ID to any other ID, membership, property and the like. The primary purpose here seems to be something unique and reproducable for every human.
