I do not understand why the app uses two dots instead of one. How am I supposed to use the leftmost dot? Is the first one there so that users can place it wherever they prefer on the menu bar or is there another reason?

Because it hides icons that are at the left of the left dot and keeps the ones between the two dots.

In my case, a click on the rightmost dot hides all the icons on the left side of the leftmost dot (and the second dot). So I still cannot understand why two dots are needed: I can place the rightmost dot on the left of the icons I want to keep always visible.

May be I did not configure it correctly.

The leftmost dot can be dragged to left and some icons would be between the two dots, now when either of the dot is clicked, the icons at the left of the leftmost dot would be hidden and those between them kept.

Ah I got your point. Yes, you're right. Because Dozer is almost deprecated and has some critical bugs so I've switched to Hidden Bar. But with both the two apps, the two delimiters are put together. Perhaps the author of Hidden Bar just copied the design.

Where do you read that Dozer is close to deprecation? I actually prefer Dozer because it keeps the current menu items when icons are hidden or shown.

It will crash on Sonoma after the screen is locked, you can search "crash" in the issues and will find that the author does not respond to that, even someone submit pull requests the author dose not respond too. The situation lasts about a year already.

It is a pity. However, no crashes on my Sonoma (latest version).
