[1.7.10] cant get tainted enchant to apply

I'm using 1.3.1710.4 of thaumic bases,and the tainted enchant wont apply.I tried throwing a thaumium blade into a tainted node,ttinkerers osmotic enchanter,and infusion enchantment and the taint enchantment is unobtainable.For some reason,the enchant doesn't even show up in the osmotic enchanter ,or infusion enchantment even though i have it researched.
