As my conversation with Digitalghost mentioned, MAME has been thoroughly updated over the years and now includes MESS. This makes UME and MESS obsolete. Updating is not only an obvious improvement - it is necessary.

There are currently 117 open issues, which might be a bit intimidating, so perhaps we as a community could make a list of top 10 points we'd love to see fixed/added in a possible future update?
