I am trying to play a shooting type game using a Dualshock 4 controller. The analog works just fine on other games, but when I try to calibrate the joystick for these, the crosshairs move, but keep resetting back to the center. I'm thinking that this is a deadzone issue; perhaps the controller is constantly sending information about center, which causes MAME to reset to center? I'm playing on a Macbook Pro with Yosemite (10.10.5) installed. Is there a way to have MAME recognize the analog's placement and remain there?

It looks like my analog works just fine on MAME, so there is nothing wrong with their core if you are using it as the basis for MAMEHub. Is there something that MAMEHub is doing to interfere with the proper handling of analog input?

unfortunately analog is often tricky for net play, hopefully one day it can be improved.
