[Blogs] ACP for Blogs doesn't make sense #23
Comments
Same opinion as Guestbooks. Do away with users being able to allow ALL to reply to blogs and no ACP options are really needed. |
I might change my opinion. I have been messing with blogs today and I discovered a thing or two.
All in all, this can all be solved with code without giving ACP options I am willing to bet, but if it is wished to leave the options to admins, then ACP will be necessary. |
I can't think of many use-cases where you want more than a blog per user. But it might not be too hard to support either. |
Guestbook was a very basic example to display the "power" of plugins... We can improve it if you wish, but I wouldn't waste too much time on this plugins as it seems that no one will be using it. :-) Maybe better focusing on the blog plugins, which may be more appealing... what do you think? |
On every site I have ever belonged to, rarely to never did anyone use a guestbook or did anyone "Sign" them. On many more sites back in the day, blogs were used extensively. I would vote for spending more time on Blogs than guest book. My opinion is biased though. I wait with bated breath for it to get fixed so I can use it :-D So please take my opinion for what it is worth. |
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to see?? Config one, config two?
