Value jumps when dragging outside of knob dimensions

Hi,

Great component! Found a nice use for it in an audio app I'm building. This is more of a question than an issue, as maybe it's already working as intended, but I've noticed that when dragging the knob outside of it's bounding box, the value jumps unexpectedly, which doesn't seem like the preferred behavior. The way dragging the knob works is also a bit non-intuitive. Most knobs (at least with my experience using music production software) respond simply on the Y-axis, like this example here.

I've been trying to see if I could try an edit that would fix that myself, but I'm having a tricky time reasoning about all the positioning logic, and my algebra is pretty rusty 😅. Any ideas on potentially changing that behavior?
