Testing something out in RAWcooked, I found that using a mono 48/16 .wav file kicked up a "This input format flavor is not supported by the current license key". To confirm that this was what kicked up the flag, I transcoded two copies of the file in Encoder with same settings, except one was mono and one stereo: mono kicked the flag, stereo encoded fine.
I see on the website that 2 channel is the free flavor, and one can pay for 6 channel. Is 1 channel intentionally a paid function, or is that an oversight?
Thanks, in any case, for the wonderful software!
Michael

We need to update the license part of the main RAWcooked page and move it to a dedicated page with all the updates.
Only 48kHz 16-bit 2-ch PCM is in the free license, all other flavors or PCM are with a license.
Don't hesitate to contact us in case you would like a temporary license for tests.
Thanks Jérôme! I am familiar with the license section, and I don't think it's hard to find. It's only that 1-ch PCM is not a listed flavor, and accounts for virtually all small-gauge sound film, so I wasn't clear whether it was intentionally a separate flavor from 2-ch.
Thanks again,
Michael
