The KODI plugin plugin.video.vdr.recordings allows to play VDR (http://www.tvdr.de/) recordings in KODI (https://kodi.tv/).
Use the context menu in any folder to search in the title of all VDR recordings.
You can create KODI libraries, see https://github.com/MarkusEh/plugin.video.vdr.recordings/wiki/KODI-video-library
Recommended KODI setting: (System) -> Media -> Videos -> "Extract thumbnails from video files": This should be on, to see the thumbnails in this plugin.
