I'm wondering what you did to get line 20 to work in the empirical examples. this is the error:

Error in as.POSIXlt.character(x, tz, ...) :
character string is not in a standard unambiguous format

I tried adding a format in, and it worked, but then I got another error for line 32:

Error in as.ltraj(movltraj[[1]][tsi, c("x", "y")], movltraj[[1]][tsi, :
id should be of the same length as xy, or of length 1

any help would be appreciated.
