ManageIQ Data Collection from redhat Osp 16

I'm trying to collect data from my cloud providers Red hat osp 16 but no data is coming back even after doing the configurations given in the manageiq documentation; Does the latest stable version support osp 16?

I have the same about this situation. If you read the ManageIQ documentation, it indicates that you have to connect to OSP 16 with port 5666 which belongs to an internal service, but in my case, that service never is published to the external network. I'll be thankful if anyone has any suggestions

Here is what I found in my logs from Refresh Worker after refreshing manually in configuration / Refresh relationships and power states

this may be due to the fact that we have not configured STF on our openstack

Hi @noor47-pixel, if you not use STF what are you using in your openstack? Your openstack use Tripleo?

I've been using the upstream 2023.1 Antelope release which came with its own set of issues and so I can't say at the moment. It also seems like the config for upstream is different based on #22492 (reply in thread)

After working a lot and read the documentation, I have short on history. this is my environment:

TripleO Redhat openstack 16.2

• 3 ctl servers
• 2 compute server

Following the documentation RHEL write that STF should be configured. However, inside the documentation is possible configure the outputs of metrics to Gnocchi inclusive save the Gnocchi data in swift. https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openstack_platform/16.2/html/operational_measurements/index

@cronosy Do you mean that you were able to get metrics without STF and only use the Gnochi service?
If so, do you have any feedback on metrics such as osp tenant quotas or object quotas only?
