Build fails when trying to build mqtt lesson, build output below.

Using idf version: ESP-IDF v4.4.1-dirty on a ubuntu linux machine.

Trying to build the project using the mqtt lesson and running into build errors.
I built the project from both the command line outside of VSC environment and within VSC with same result.
Again downloaded new install of idf from espressif, same results.

Same errors when i build Wifi station example project from examples.

I get some warnings about deprecated functions but errors due to not finding functions .
Here is some of the output from the build command. The errors reference the same undefined references to 'esp_efuse_mac_get_default'

Any help is appreciated.

So I deleted my esp/esp-idf directory and my /.espressif directory and performed a full install. And that fixed the problem. My installation must of gotten contaminated somehow, someway.
