If you're using ViaVersion on 1.8.x and having issues with tags showing up in the tab list. Edit the file plugins/ViaVersion/config.yml
Replace:
auto-team: true
With:
auto-team: false

Enable debug mode with /ne debug, and send us the output you receive in console.
