Plugin load error on linux (undefined symbol) #6

I'm unable to load the plugin on linux which gives the following error:
openvdb_render.so: undefined symbol: _ZN7openvdb4v5_18GridBase15META_GRID_CLASSE (openvdb_render)

I tried setting the ABI version to 4, enabling/disabling compatibility with ABI 3 and setting _GLIBCXX_USE_CXX11_ABI to 0 but no luck. Any idea what's missing?
