Hi, I'm a researcher studying Nanopore data.
I have two questions about bulkvis tool.

  1. Can I export numeric signal data in .csv or other format which is visualized as a graph?
  2. Can I select signal data in fast5 file by genomic position that can be annotated with fastq files?

Hi,

  1. Our tool doesn't enable you to export data from fast5 files to csv. I'd recommend looking at the ont-fast5-api to do that.
  2. Indirectly, yes. If you use the gen_bmf.py script you can create alignments that show up over the signal displayed by bulkvis. Alternatively, you can align your data and then select reads that you are interested in an search for them using their FASTQ description string, eg:
    @658814b5-1635-427e-8614-e8a798a9cd20 ch=121
