<p>欢迎来到天津 Linux 用户组，TJLUG。虽然我们关注的技术和东西远远不止 Linux，但是为什么叫 Linux 用户组，而不是开源用户组呢？很多新朋友觉得困惑。其实很简单，Linux 可以说是非常典型的开源项目，其诞生和发展过程可以说是非常典型的黑客文化、开源文化，而开源文化本就自黑客文化一脉相承，而且全球各地的 Linux 用户组有着20多年历史，聚集了大量的 hackers、Linux 用户和开源爱好者，种种原因，所以叫 Linux 用户组。</p>
<p>Linux发行版是一种自由和开放源码的类UNIX操作系统。该操作系统的内核由 Linus Tolvalds 在1991年10月5日首次发布，在加上用户空间的应用程序之后，成为Linux操作系统。Linux也是自由软件和开放源代码软件发展中最著名的例子。只要遵循GNU 通用公共许可证（GPL），任何个人和机构都可以自由地使用Linux的所有底层源代码，也可以自由地修改和再发布。大多数Linux系统还包括像提供GUI的X Window之类的程序。除了一部分专家之外，大多数人都是直接使用Linux 发行版，而不是自己选择每一样组件或自行设置。</p>
<p>开源软件（英语：open source software，缩写：OSS）又称开放源代码软件，是一种源代码可以任意获取的计算机软件，这种软件的著作权持有人在软件协议的规定之下保留一部分权利并允许用户学习、修改以及以任何目的向任何人分发该软件。开源协议通常符合开放源代码的定义的要求。一些开源软件被发布到公有领域。开源软件常被公开和合作地开发。开源软件是开放源代码开发的最常见的例子，全球闻名的 Android,Tensorflow 等等都是开源软件。</p>
