adding a kind of sanity run when the server is up

Motivation

include some sanity checks for the server when it is up, maybe if a server has defined sample data that would be used for a dry run...

Pitch

it is easy to make a typo or other mistake in predict, but until you have the first request which could be in hours and so the server fails...

You can send request to the server after starting the server. The typo or mistake would only come in development and it is an expected workflow to send requests while development which would show the result.
