No information displayed when the mail configuration is not working (the server simply returns 200)

To test the mail configuration, I used the "invite user by mail" form.
However, the page always returns status 200 even when it failed.
Luckily the response (thanks to the developer tools) contains the error message but it is not at all displayed.

Maybe a "send test mail" page could be useful.
