Cons:

Mixing content created by LeagueSandbox like /Champions and /Buffs with content generated from Riot inibins like /Spells could put this in trouble

Pros:

Having a repository for content created by LeagueSandbox and other for auto-generated content from Riot should help avoiding problems since /AIMesh, /Spells, /Items, /Maps, /Properties, /Spells and /Stats are content generated from Riot Games and they could request us to delete them.
It should be as easy to do as adding 2 submodules to the GameServer repository

This has been discussed in the Discord as well, and is a good idea
