Then, trying your newer/experimental WebRTC solution, the camera(only the back, not the front, on school Chromebooks) works, but I can not get it to recognize any of the black and white patterns.
Lastly, the best result I managed to achieve after quite some hours trying to install, build and the Arcade pxt editor locally, was the same eternal loading screen, like for the first point. I tried also many older versions of pxt and nodejs, from about around the time of the last updates of this project.
It would be great if you got this Arcadia to work again online, or if we could get a little help getting it to work on a local server!
PS: I notice that you "fairly recently" made some fixes for webcam and @pelikhan make a pull request for upgrading pxt, and MS still links to the project on the Labs pages. So hopefully, this project is not abandoned?

Hi and thanks for this exciting MakeCode project, which I was hoping to use in an upcoming school maker/coding faire!
But when I try to link to this main version from the MakeCode Labs pages, I only get an eternal loading screen which never reaches the editor window:
