I want to send a reminder message from bot on every friday at 4:00 pm.

I want to know this too. How can I send a message from the bot without using listen_to or respond_to?

Did anyone find a solution to this issue? I am implementing a reminder feature too, but I am not able to send DM from the bot to a particular user.

By the way this version of the bot is no longer maintained as I understand it. Take a look at: https://github.com/attzonko/mmpy_bot
