Ideally, any implementation should be generalized to all https://developer.android.com/training/data-storage/shared exposed to the OS, unless an OAuth implementation explicitly for Google Drive is specially useful.

There's little reason to limit this to Google Drive, when the same APIs provide access to NextCloud and OneDrive.
