Concepts | Features |
---|---|
Device Channels | The Device physical connectors from the user´s soundcard specifications. |
Channels Preferences | The User selects the channels option to work with. From 1 to 8 output channels and up to 2 Inputs channels |
Device Inputs Channels | The Device physical inputs from the user´s soundcard specifications. Audio driver will allow up to 2 Inputs channels. |
Device Outputs Channels | The Device physical outputs from the user´s soundcard specifications. Audio driver will allow up to 16 outputs channels. |
Bus Mixer Routing | The Mixing Channels. The internal audio routing includes a Bus mixing area where user can define his sound strategy. |
Strip Bus Property | Assign a Bus to a Sound Strip. Each sound sequence can be routed to one specific Mixing Bus. |
Audio Mixdown Master | Export Channel Strips, regarding the output channels settings in system preferences. |
Audio Mixdown Mixbus | Export Channel Strips, regarding the user´s scene MixBus settings in scene properties. |
Audio Unit | The unit used for audio level (inputs/outputs) is expressed in decibel dB. The reference range is -60 <> 0dB, the steps can be linear or dynamic (optional). |
Audio Effects Modifiers | VSE Specific |
Audio Effects Nodes | Mixing console |
Audio Visualizations | in VSE sequencer window? (no), in VSE preview window? (why not). |
Audio Vu-Meters | |
Audio Equalizer (Param/Band) |
This option includes a Mix Buses routing interface between the audio strips and the Master-to-Devices outputs.
- Preferences Settings are: Number of Buses (1,2,4,8) and Device Output Channels
- Options are: Audio Strip Bus (depends on preferences)
- Default connections: Bus ST 1 > Output 1+2 ...
Notes: The user actions on sounds is limited in sequencer view, alternative view for edit. IF Audio Fx are placed between the Mix buses and the Output channels, Sound Nodes become a a goodoption to work with audio sequences "groups" or sub-mix or "Mix Bus", whatever they are placed in the sequencer channels and be adjusted together.
