KTable removes pagination and toolbar when showing an error state

As an example:

If I'm on page 1 of a KTable and clicking on page 2 results in a HTTP error from my API, the error page replaces the KTable and the pagination entirely (and the toolbar where we have a search field), meaning I can't click back to page 1.

I may be using KTable wrong or missing config, so if this is not reproducible, or there is config to control this, please let me know.
